An apartment complex was established by the International Humanitarian Relief – IHR for the Syrian Refugees in Aarsal which was considered as an attempt to improve the living condition for the Syrian refugees by providing them with the minimum requirements for having a life with proper human dignity. The apartment complex consists of 163 Caravan distributed as follow: (154 Residential caravan – 6 medical caravan including a clinic and a laboratory – 3 Administrative caravans to run the daily affairs for the complex) The apartment complex was build on a ground with area 10,000 m2 and provides the refugees with water, electricity and sewage services, since it includes a water well connected to a water tank that works on distributing water ready for drinking and everyday usage daily for all the residences of the complex. Also, the apartment complex includes two big electrical generators with 100 KVA power ability for each and works on supplying the complex with the required electricity support for daily usage and for pumping water up from the well to the water tank so it will be distributed latterly on all the residences of the complex.
URGENT SHELTERING
To provide tents for all the new syrian refugees who arrived to Ersal and to improve the living condition of all the syrian refugee families there by distributing 200 shader – canvas in order to guarantee their tents strength and quality
WARM WINTER
With winter 2015-2016 coming in a time when the families in North Lebanon are in deeper need, it was essential to provide assistance through the distribution of heating fuel to the syrian and lebanese families of these areas. 183000 Liters were distributed for the most needy families of that region
WINTER WARMTH CAMPAIGN
Qatar Red Crescent – Orient Helfer – Hand in Hand – Homs League Abroad – the community of Arab students in Malaysia – Friends of the Syrian people / Switzerland – Siraj – Private donors the campaign objective is to alleviate the bitter coldness of the winter season and it’s storms that cause destruction in the refugee camps . international humanitarian relief contribution was vital and essential in the past campaign : winter clothing : 3800 (full winter kit) Aarsal , Bekaa , Akkar Blankets : 6900 blanket in Aarsal , Bekaa , Akkar Tarpaulin tent cover : 670 cover : Aarsal ,Bekaa Diesel : more than 174.768 liters in Aarsal , Bekaa , Akkar
