Provide Clean Water

Support "IHR-USA" to Provide Clean Water to Syrian Refugees, and to help them Survive this Summer Burning Heatwave.

Clean water is a basic necessity but many of the refugee camps in northern Syria and in the border areas in Lebanon still lack access to fresh clean water. Not only is water an issue, but so is the burning heat, that gets trapped in their tents. These tents have no protection or way of keeping out the sun's powerful rays. This lack of water and intense heat causes severe dehydration, diarrhea, and health complications, especially for children.  Children need better conditions to grow and prosper.

International Humanitarian Relief believes water is the best investment for them

- to improve health and well-being, and also empower families for a healthier and safer lifestyle. - In addition, the International Humanitarian Relief team will get some sustainable solutions such as solar power to help pump the water to the camps without having to rely on the nonexisting, environment-polluting fuel. - Also, the IHR team will distribute clean water on a daily basis using mobile water tanks, delivering water routinely to those camps that do not have access to water wells or any other infrastructure that pumps water to their camps.

With your help and generous donations

we will try to reduce the effects of the heat wave by helping the refugees face the hot summers ahead using creative solutions, small yet effective solutions. Some of our creative ideas include providing families with solar-powered fans as well as distributing one-meter ice blocks for each tent, this will help both to decrease the temperatures and also allow the use of the cold water which melts from the ice block
